Obedience is Worship

You know—it’s not what it means to me. I live in a fallen world, and I am of the sinful nature so why, oh why, would I take my own word or belief and think it to be truth or fact? Simple question, isn’t it? GOD has given us something to know exactly what needs to be done-it guides us because we cannot be trusted to think right for ourselves–because of our sin nature. The WORD condemns any and all pagan rituals. Whether you believe it or not. GOD by HIS very nature cannot, and will not, accept your worship of HIM in those pagan ways–won’t happen no matter how much you believe you are honoring or worshiping HIM. Eggs and bunnies have NOTHING to do with the Resurrection of JESUS. In fact, they are VERY dangerous for any believer to even consider touching. Rev. 3:10 tells us that since we were faithful, we will be kept from THAT time (the most horrible time on earth). We are not faithful when we use pagan rituals or things in our attempt to worship GOD. In fact, that is called Unfaithful. As for me and my house we will refrain from ALL pagan rituals at any time of the year and give thanks that HE died on the cross for our sins because there was no way we could. HIS resurrection proves who HE really was and is and is to come– Read 2 Kings 17:14-15–you will see that gentile Christians (or so called) are just as stiff necked as the Jews— ~ Dan Allnut

  1. If someone told you to jump off a cliff, are you going to go over and jump off the cliff? Or are you going to peek over the edge and see how far down the drop is first?

    1. Since being freed from the legalism and chains of the RCC I have become skeptical of everything! Especially these traditions with pagan roots. No we are not pagans- if we celebrate these things-but these “celebrations” are ROOTED deeply in paganism. That which we are told not to take part in. What makes us think there are exceptions? I know there are those that think of it doesn’t bother their conscience it’s ok…how does this not bother a born again Christian’s conscience 😢💔
      Doesn’t the following scriptures tell us to be separate from our them?

      ❤️ 2 Corinthians 6:17-18

      Wherefore Come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, And touch not the unclean thing; And I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, And ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

      1. Traditions of men become commandments of men. Today we have church history being rewritten to say that Easter and Christmas are not pagan. Even though many pastors and encyclopedias through the ages have said that they are. No love for the truth of God’s holy Word. No study of it nor is there any desire to rightly interpret it. Just make it say what we want so we can keep our unholy days and that’ll sooth our consciences.

    2. Also 😉 we are told through God’s Word to test ALL things! We are told to study scriptures to see if these things (I would say that includes holy-days/holidays) are of God or man’s traditions…
