It amazes me that those who celebrate the traditions of men’s pagan/papist "holy" days have no problem saying that you cannot christianize Yoga or other such pagan activities and practices-can they not see their own hypocrisy? They would not have us pick and choose the Scriptures we should abide by, and they would not have us give to Scriptures our own private interpretation, yet it is the very thing that they do to justify celebrating these abominable pagan "holy" days that God detests and tells us not to do many times over throughout His holy Word.

Questions: If you set up the pagan Yule/ X Mass tree in the church because you don’t believe there is any harm to you and your fellow believers, will you stop the practice when a former Wiccan comes to Christ Jesus as her Savior and joins your church? Or will you wound her conscience and spoil her rewards from God by your selfishness in letting her believe that some of her Wiccan practices and tokens are OK for her to hold on to? In witnessing Christ before Wiccans, do you think they will see how set apart from them you are during the X Mass/Easter season? Or will they see you as imitating them (which is what you really are doing) and cause them to believe that Christianity is just another pagan-rooted religion?
Another question: Do you care if some of your members leave the church while you are celebrating the Yuletide season because it offends them?
Pretend for a moment that you and your family are the only ones in the world. Pretend you don’t have a TV or any history books from the world. All you have is a Bible. Without any influences from the world, you do your best to follow the Word of God. Based on that scenario, is it likely that you will be cutting a tree from the forest, decorating it with balls, and exchanging gifts on December 25th and saying it is for the celebration of the birth of Christ? Of course not because such silly tradition does not exist in the Bible and it would not even exist in your conscience and you would not even be inspired to imagine such a silly tradition. It is only through the impure minds of the heathens that such a tradition came about.
Therefore, if you do the Christmas celebration, you fully acknowledge that it is solely based on the world’s tradition. It is solely based on what MAN says to do, not God. If you want to continue Christmas celebration, then don’t be a hypocrite and say it’s for Jesus, because it’s not! It’s for the world. Admit you are a heathen and carry on your heathen ways, but don’t you dare put yourself in the same category as the most High and all His people. Just a note: while this is a very edifying teaching. He talks of a baptism of fire. Now, I didn’t catch what verse he used but if it is the “baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire” then I disagree with his interpretation of that verse since John was talking to the “brood of vipers” and so I believe it means the lake of fire. However, the refiner’s fire is what I believe we go through to die to self.
