Don’t Be Spoiled

      1. Yes! I’m getting better at dealing with it. Its pagan so let pagans do what they do. It does grieve me when Christians celebrate it, but I’ve come to realize it is a deeply ingrained tradition and it blinds our brethren from the truth. God will open their eyes as only He can.

Have a wonderfully blessed day, Beth, amen!

  1. I believe there’s a spirit behind Christmas and it’s not the Holy Spirit. When I was first born again I realized Christmas was not of the Lord. The tree was the first thing to go, but I didn’t fully detach until some time later. I don’t remember how long though. The conviction was very strong. If it wasn’t how could I have withdrawn from Christmas when my four grandchildren celebrated. The Lord Jesus must be number one, even before our precious grandchildren. And it’s NOT legalism. If someone asked me why I don’t celebrate Christmas I would say it doesn’t bring honor to the Lord. I find that it mocks him. Just look at the decorations in Walmart. I don’t want any part of that.

    1. I agree, it is not legalism. Nor is it works righteousness which I heard a Bible teacher say. The Pharisees/legalists are those who hold to the tradition of Christ Mass. The decorations are “enchanting” and “magical” and made of fairytale stuff. What has Christ to do with Belial?

Yes, it is of the Lord when He draws us away from a holiday that our children and grandchildren celebrate. Praises to our Beloved! 🤗

Have a blessed day, Cathy, amen!

    1. Many X Mass songs that Christians sing was written by pagans. Yule is pagan. Oh, Tannenbaum! Worship means to serve and bow down. Decorating the tree and making it look magical is worship. Admiring it is worship. “Look what our hands have made!” I even heard a brother in Christ say that in watering a real tree you have to bow down to do it. I don’t know but it depends on what God sees. He saw that every evil (child sacrifices and orgies) that Israel did was under every green tree. Must Christians remind Him of what they did?

Besides, one cannot tell the difference between a Yule tree and a Christ Mass tree unless you get up close. We are not to imitate the pagans in our worship nor have even the appearance of evil.

(I know you know these things! I say them for the sake of those who don’t, -IF they should pass this way…)

Have another wonderfully blessed day in the Lord, Beth, amen! 🤗
