Why Christians Shouldn’t Celebrate Christmas – Pagan Origin of Christmas

Best video I’ve heard on the subject using the most reliable sources. The first ten minutes is worth the listen if you listen to no more of it.

This sermon explains why Christians should not celebrate Christmas because it is the pagan holiday of Saturnalia and Natalis Solis Invicti of which the Catholic Church changed the name.

  1. Sherry, this video you posted is outstanding.

Tom found a second video. It is very good but comes down on the side of individual conscience. However the teacher is a committed Christian who shares that the narrow way gets ever more narrow when we’re listening to and obeying the Lord.

    1. Thanks for the video! I will bookmark it and, hopefully, listen to it later tonight. God bless you and Tom!

I’ve had that video on a page for awhile now. I was feeling a bit low when someone said that we don’t have to be concerned with the paganism of the day. This person has been told by me and many others that its not good to mix the holy and the unholy. So, to help me get my bearings back I listened to this video and realized that it is a very good one and debunks those who go into keeping the Jewish feasts and the sabbath day. I took a chance in posting it on social media but it may have been too soon after the “holy” day. Sometimes people are more receptive. God bless it and send it to those He is calling to come out from among them and into a walk of greater holiness.

      1. Don’t be discouraged, sister!

Proverbs 4:18 NKJV — But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

    2. Fantastic video! I’ve heard of this man before. He has a great testimony about hitting rock bottom and the Lord lifting him up. I’ve bookmarked his channel to watch some more of his videos. God bless him! \o/

  2. Sherry, may I give you another reminder of joy?

Malachi 3:16 NASB — Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD gave attention and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name.

    Goodnight, dear friend!
