LET MY TEARS WATER THE FOOTSTEPS…

Powerful words indeed!

By A.W.Tozer, from a previously unpublished essay.

“I cannot stop people from doing what they are doing, but at least I can grieve because they will not stop; and I am going to do that. I am going to let my tears water the footsteps of those who go astray.

And when the churches will not come back to the New Testament standards and worship the Lord our God in the beauty of Holiness, if I cannot make them do it or persuade them to do it in this awful hour of crisis, at least I can weep because they will not come. And I can sigh if I cannot weep.

I do not know what the future holds. But I know one thing:

Rather than betray the sheep of God,

rather than lie to them and deceive them and keep them agitated and stirred up…

Legalism vs. Holiness

Paul Martin's avatarMy $.02

The true difference between Legalism and Holiness is that Legalism is a self set standard that men do in a futile attempt to please God… It is outward only. God is not fooled.
Real Holiness is a heart separated unto the Lord. It does or does not do based upon a willing obedience to the Spirit of God in the believer’s life. It permits the believer to obey God out of a heart to serve Him, and not out of a fear of punishment from Him. Legalism seeks to show others how “spiritual” a person is, and condemns those who don’t follow the same standard. Holiness seeks to please God, apart from what others think.
And guess what? Without Holiness, no man will see the Lord .(Heb 12:14)

CHRISTMAS: Baal worship?

Foolish is the one who enters into research with conclusions before they have uncovered the facts. Far more foolish is the one who refuses to research and “prove all things” before doing them. Also, too many today offend GOD in their desire to avoid offending others.

I have written on the subject of the pagan “holy days” (i.e. holidays) as celebrated by many around the world including four of the eight pagan witch sabbaths or holidays known as Yule or Christmas, Ostara or Easter, Litha or Midsummer’s Day, and Samhain or Halloween. These holidays are some of the better known of the eight Baal sabbaths which occur on the quarterly and cross-quarterly milestones of the earth’s rotation around the sun.  A full list of the eight witch sabbaths can be seen here and here.

“ Woe be unto the pastors…”

Jeremiah 23:1-4

Why is it that the God-fearing discerning children have to be the ones scattered? God no sooner approves of christianizing pagan traditions, slapping Jesus’ name on it, making it a holy day which He did not ordain, and worshiping Him with the same customs as the heathen do their gods today as He did when the Jews incorporated heathen practices in their worship of Him! Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God is not going to be winking at the paganism in the visible Church for much longer. Nor is He going to approve of undiscerning pastors who let every fraudster speak deceits to His children.

Don’t get mad and full of “righteous” anger at those who do not attend church, nor say smart-alecky things about church shoppers! We aren’t into worshiping with the goats who love their pagan/worldly traditions and false prophets and false teachings.

GIVE PEOPLE TIME TO CHANGE (In Case You Missed It)…

A very good reminder:
FTA:Be patient when you share the word of God, or give spiritual advice to others…

Think about the fact that when Jesus was in His human form, his biological brothers (Mary’s other sons) did not believe in Him…

Sometimes we can get frustrated when we share God’s truth or fresh revelation and people don’t respond the way we had hoped.

They may respond negatively…

They may even tell you that they don’t want to hear it…

They may tell you that you’re confused…

They may tell you that they just aren’t ready to change…

Once you plant a seed, you can’t force it to grow…We plant and water, but God gives the increase.

1 Corinthians 3:6-8 (NKJV)

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

We must remember…we didn’t always immediate agree with everything we heard concerning God the first time.

We didn’t immediately take heed to every bit of good, sound spiritual advice we received.

We didn’t immediately stop sinful practices when someone warned us.

There were…
