CHRISTMAS – A Poem

CHRISTMAS – A Poem

Thanksgiving’s gone, another year,

The race is on, we’re in high gear.

Black Friday, the official date,

The shopping mall, our starting gate.

So many trees, and twinkling lights,

Ah, gifts galore, oh what a sight!

The houses glow, adorned anew,

In colors green, red, white, and blue.

The stores are packed, with brand new fare,

And soon you’ll see a Santa there.

The music very mystical,

It makes one feel so whimsical.

Now clean, and cook, and decorate,

So much to do, we stay up late.

Send out the cards, and wrap the gifts,

No wonder that we need a lift.

The day has come, dinner’s ready,

Family gathered, people many.

But do they know of Gospel grace,

Dare you preach it, now, in this place?

If they’re lost, what could be merry,

Sudden death would be so scarey.

IT TAKES A RADICAL CHRISTIAN TO SAY NO TO PAGAN CHRISTMAS

IT TAKES A RADICAL CHRISTIAN TO SAY NO TO PAGAN CHRISTMAS

A.W. Pink

“For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ!” [Galatians 1:10]”

And WHO is it that celebrates “Christmas?” The whole “civilized world.” Millions who make no profession of faith in the blood of the Lamb, who “despise and reject Him,” and millions more who while claiming to be His followers yet in works deny Him, join in merrymaking under the pretense of honoring the birth of the Lord Jesus. Putting it on it’s lowest ground, we would ask, is it fitting that His friends should unite with His enemies in a worldly round of fleshly gratification? Does any true born again soul really think that He whom the world cast out is either pleased or glorified…

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC MASS AND A WITCHCRAFT RITUAL – THE RESEMBLANCE

THE ROMAN CATHOLIC MASS AND A WITCHCRAFT RITUAL – THE RESEMBLANCE

Brother Dudley

The Roman Catholic Mass is both a blasphemy and an abomination! I believe once one is born again, the Holy Spirit will show a person what the Catholic Church really is about, and that the Mass is total blasphemy against Jesus. When I was born again, I wanted to throw up, when I realized what the Mass was truly about, and that it had a false “Christian” veneer to basically what is a “mass” ritual set up to dishonor God.

Think about why “Jesus” is presented “dead” on Catholic crucifixes all over the world, with his head slouched over. There is a reason for that.

When someone comes to know the real Jesus Christ, there is no excusing or loving the false Mass and it’s communion wafer idol. Most in the pews think they…

THE LUKEWARM COMPROMISE OF JUSTIFYING CHRISTMAS REVELLERS (2018)

THE LUKEWARM COMPROMISE OF JUSTIFYING CHRISTMAS REVELLERS (2018)

 Michael Jeshurun

“For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.” [Rom 14:2]. This Scripture SHOULD NOT BE USED to justify ‘Christ-MASS’ revellers! The ‘Christian’ who rebelliously observes this Pagan Romish tradition is not like the ‘weak’ brother eating herbs . . . but either a rebellious Christian who wants to do his own thing or simply a ‘lost’ nominal ‘Christian’!!!

From what our Lord has said in the opening verses of Matthew 7 it might possibly be concluded that it is not permissible for us to admonish a brother or seek the amendment of his fault, yet further reflection should show us that that inference is entirely erroneous.

“Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him” (Lev. 19:17). How different…

Fearing the Keeping of Holy Days & the Spiritual Bondage of Christmas, Easter, Etc

Galatians 4:9-11King James Version (KJV)

But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?

10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.

11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

2 Peter 2:21King James Version (KJV)

21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

“ Woe be unto the pastors…”

Jeremiah 23:1-4

Why is it that the God-fearing discerning children have to be the ones scattered? God no sooner approves of christianizing pagan traditions, slapping Jesus’ name on it, making it a holy day which He did not ordain, and worshiping Him with the same customs as the heathen do their gods today as He did when the Jews incorporated heathen practices in their worship of Him! Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God is not going to be winking at the paganism in the visible Church for much longer. Nor is He going to approve of undiscerning pastors who let every fraudster speak deceits to His children.

Don’t get mad and full of “righteous” anger at those who do not attend church nor say smart-alecky things about church shoppers! We aren’t into worshiping with the goats who love their pagan/worldly traditions and false prophets and false teachings.
