But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light:
O you who love the Lord, hate evil! – Psalm 97:10 ~ There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. – Proverbs 14:12

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light:
Queen of Heaven was a title given to a number of ancient sky goddesses worshipped throughout the ancient Mediterranean and Near East during ancient times. Goddesses known to have been referred to by the title include Inanna, Anat, Isis, Astarte, Hera, and possibly Asherah (by the prophet Jeremiah). In Greco-Roman times Hera, and her Roman aspect Juno bore this title. Forms and content of worship varied. In modern times, the title “Queen of Heaven” is still used by contemporary pagans to refer to the Great Goddess, while Catholics, Orthodox, and some Anglican Christians now apply the ancient title to Mary, the mother of Jesus.
Back when I attended Catholic grammar school in the 1960s, the nuns would have all of the students assemble on the first weekday of May every year to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. Weather permitting, the students would line up by class on a field adjoining the church, and then proceed into the church singing Ave Maria. Bringing up the rear of the procession was the May Queen and her two attendants. The nuns inevitably chose the prettiest and smartest eighth grade girl to be the May Queen. She was dressed to the nines for the occasion and carried a small crown of flowers. After she entered the church and proceeded to the small Marian altar to the right of the main altar, she placed the crown on the statue of Mary, honoring her as the Queen of Heaven.
Little did we know at the time how un-Biblical all of…

A very good reminder:
FTA:Be patient when you share the word of God, or give spiritual advice to others…Think about the fact that when Jesus was in His human form, his biological brothers (Mary’s other sons) did not believe in Him…

Sometimes we can get frustrated when we share God’s truth or fresh revelation and people don’t respond the way we had hoped.
They may respond negatively…
They may even tell you that they don’t want to hear it…
They may tell you that you’re confused…
They may tell you that they just aren’t ready to change…
Once you plant a seed, you can’t force it to grow…We plant and water, but God gives the increase.
1 Corinthians 3:6-8 (NKJV)
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
We must remember…we didn’t always immediate agree with everything we heard concerning God the first time.
We didn’t immediately take heed to every bit of good, sound spiritual advice we received.
We didn’t immediately stop sinful practices when someone warned us.
There were…

4 Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
The Christ Mass, aka, Christmas, is not spiritually of God and is to be utterly avoided by His chosen as our sacrifice acceptable to Him. So, also, all of our pagan traditions of which things He hates should be shunned. Be holy as He is holy, that is, be set apart from the world and be for Him a witness to the only true God and Father of Christ Jesus.
FTA: The Roman Catholic false gospel of works is rooted in paganism and very real occult practices. Mary is the primary mediator of the Roman Catholic. The truth is that if someone is praying to Mary it is a clear indication that they are not born again and are in desperate need of salvation. Praying to Mary (praying the rosary) is an occult practice. It is idolatry and rebellion against God’s Word. It is witchcraft and it will damn the souls of those who do not repent. (1 Timothy 2:5, Deuteronomy 18:10-12, 1 Samuel 15:23)
I wrote BEHIND CLOSED DOORS as a Bible Tract many years ago.
Over the years things have gotten worse, not better.
Many will be found to have blood on their hands.
Here’s what I wrote back then, with the last Scripture I added today…
I was a Roman Catholic for almost forty years. I wrote the following as a bible tract in the 1990’s, after I was born again. It was written for the purpose of encouraging Christians to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with Roman Catholics within their sphere of influence, and to pray for their salvation.
Behind Closed Doors
We are living in a day of ecumenism when the professing church is promoting an unbiblical unity, a unity which can only be achieved by compromising the truth of God’s Word. Many high profile evangelical leaders and pastors promote Roman Catholicism as ‘just another Christian denomination.’ Nothing could…
