Paul speaks clearly to Timothy regarding just how deceitful things will become during what he calls the “latter days” of this current age. As far as I can see, there are two ages; this age in which we currently live and the coming age in which Jesus will physically reign. I firmly believe we are approaching the end of this current age that will lead into the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus, as He reigns from His earthly father David’s throne, from Jerusalem.
The Holy Spirit provided Paul with information about many things and he wrote much of it down for us. His writings teach us many things about God and His plans for the earth as this age draws to a close.
